Meissonnier · Louis XV Trumeau Design — 19th‑Century French Rococo Architectural Engraving (Plate 52 · c.1860)

A 19th‑century engraving after Juste‑Aurèle Meissonnier, presenting an ornate Louis XV trumeau (decorative wall panel) design, published as Plate 52 circa 1860.

The composition reflects the hallmark vocabulary of French Rococo—asymmetrical curves, sculptural foliage, and richly detailed ornament characteristic of Meissonnier’s influential 18th‑century architectural designs.
